Last year we presented Project Alzina to the councils of the Vall and the local community, it was well received by many families who also wanted their children to have access to the educational offerings that were presented.
We are delighted to announce that Association Project Alzina is now official and we are ready to bring quality bi-lingual, outdoor education to the children of the local community in the style of an international Forest School. Over the last 9 months our team worked with a group of local children to complete their L3 Forest School Practitioner qualification and are ready to open new projects to the community.

+ Alzina Forest School - outdoor kindergarten for ages 2-6
+ Alzina Forest Club - offering a range of regular activities, camps, events for children 4-16
+ Alzina Happy Mornings - parent and toddler play group that will be hosted once a week
Alzina Forest School will open in September 2023, operating 4 days a week and we are now accepting inscriptions. If you are interested in securing a space for your child for 2023/24 then please contact us.
Alzina Forest Club offers children access to a long term educational project that provides the opportunity to experience forest school and connect with nature on a regular basis. We will offer a necessary meeting space for the young people of the valley, providing an ideal environment to strengthen bonds and make new friendships. In the long term, these bonds forged in nature will foster a resilient youth who are connected to the territory of the Valley.
In our workshops we will offer the possibility of being in the present with “presencia”, living with the place, the weather, the group. We will work on survival skills, identification of territories, animals and plants and offer the opportunity to create in the forest. The possibilities that nature offers are endless, the Alzina Guides present these possibilities to the children.

Forest School Guides speak in English and Catalan. Activities/ sessions will promote exposure to the English language in a playful and practical context.
Soon we will provide the Alzina Forest Club events calendar and further information on how to join. This summer we have two camps running:
Alzina Happy Mornings will start in September with a gathering held on Tuesday mornings from 10-12:30 for ages 0-5. Special activities will be organised that families can choose to join such as music, art and sensory activities. More information will be shared soon.
